The bi-lateral Austria-Taiwan seminar is part of the academic research cooperation between National Chengchi University, Taiwan, and the University of Vienna, and also designed as a kick-off for future exchange in the field of migration and immigration.
The seminar is also designed as the starting point for further future exchange in the field of migration and intends to outline potential future areas of cooperation. Different institutes of National Chengchi University are involved and will be represented at the seminar, including political science, gender studies, social sciences, global development studies and management studies departments. The University of Vienna will show the broad approach of her Vienna Center for Taiwan Studies. Except University of Vienna researchers, other European partner universities of our institute will also participate. The seminar is also an opportunity to introduce the main research areas of the Vienna Center, namely aborigines studies, gender studies and law.
